What players actually pay
Most pickleball platforms charge the player a fee for every event they enter, and keep it even if the player withdraws. We charge once per tournament, and give it back if they don't play.

Questions
Is GameTime really free for players?
Yes — and it always will be. Finding courts, tracking your DUPR, building a profile, finding partners, joining pickup games, browsing paddles and following live scores are all free with no account wall. We only ever charge around running a tournament.
What is the player registration fee, exactly?
On the Free plan, a player pays $3.50 once per tournament — not per event. If they enter singles, doubles and mixed, they still pay $3.50 total. If they withdraw and don't play, it's refunded.
What does the organizer pay on the Free plan?
Nothing. No setup fee, no monthly fee, no per-event fee. You keep your registration revenue minus standard payment processing, which goes to Stripe, not to us.
How do I make it free for my players?
Upgrade to Pro at $29/month and the player fee drops to $0. If you take more than about nine registrations a month, Pro costs you less than the fees your players would have paid.
Who holds the money?
You do. You're the merchant of record through Stripe Connect, so registration revenue goes to your account on Stripe's normal payout schedule. We never hold your money and there's no waiting weeks to get paid.
Can I move an event from another platform?
Yes. Tell us about your next event and we'll help you move it across, including your player list and divisions.
Do you charge waitlisted players?
No. You're only charged when you actually have a spot and play.
